ABOUT

Sigur Technology AS has it´s roots from the DNV classification company.  A service called FRAS (Fluid system Reliability, Availability and Safety) was later established as a company performing services within condition monitoring of machinery trough oil, material analysis and inspection of machinery with large breakdown cost. After a turbulent period with different investors the original company changed name into Sigur Technology AS. The strength of the company is the knowledge to set up condition monitoring and sampling systems within the segment of large machinery operating within critical environment, such as offshore rigs, ship propulsion an operational systems (Safe to port), hydro electric power plants and large paper machines.

The knowledge in the company has roots from 48 years within the hydraulic field from work within construction of components and systems for hydraulic and oil lubrication installations, patents within fluid sampling technology and condition monitoring instrumentation using particle imaging system for interpretation of wear and tear mechanisms in large critical machine installations. The latest development is a wafer sampler made to draw samples from large process installations.
